Butterflies and flowers... again

I think I start to like butterlies + flowers combination. With that, I entered the 365 cards challenge . It is for Vicky's signature style -- clean background and soft colors.



I'm still trying to play around with the glitter. One thing I noticed is that if the glitter doesn't stick well for the first time, don't apply glue stick on the portion that doesn't have glitter, it'll just make it worse. A good lesson. :P

Glitter bottle

Got some of my friend's share of Martha Stewart crystal glitter earlier. After making a few attempts to use it, I think I started to get a handle of it, though it isn't perfect yet.

It's been a hectic long weekend. It's Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. Now, everything is back to normal. Well.. I wish I could have a vacation for this vacation. :)

Anyway, I made a Thank you card for a friend who has been supportive on my card creation (for tips, comments and supplies!).


Lots of new toys that I got recently. The Martha Stewart copper stamp pad wasn't as dark as I thought it is, but it turned out ok.



The butterfly is colored by markers. I like the multi-color that it can give.

flowers + butterfly.. typical bday card for women

I have to say this is my favorite of this year so far. I got some clear embossing powder from a friend to try out, so I stamp a butterfly stamps and put the clear embossing powder on top to enhance it. It looks pretty nice! Well.. except there's one "handicapped" butterfly on the top right corner. :P


Also, I put 2 rhinestones on the flowers.
