2nd post of the day!

Not sure if it's a sign that it takes less time for me to make one card, it's very unusual that I have 2 posts for the day. Anyway, I'm participating in the CPS sketch challenge.

I embossed the polka dots one by one randomly, it does look a bit irregular. I think I like some regularity more. :)

Clean & Simple

I'm playing along the Clean and simple challenge. When I got the card stock for the card, I love it. I love the color scheme and the pattern. Then I figure it's not easy to make a card out of it. So it's been sitting there for a while in my craft cabinet. But I'm happy how this card turns out. After finishing the card, I find it might look better with some glitter glue on the circles at the background.

Baby card

I'm playing along the 365 card challenge for the Saturday sketch.

I find babies come in batches. When my son was born about 6 months ago, I know 2 friends who were having babies around that time. And in a few months, I know a few friends who will be having babies too. So, I'm making a card. I guess you know it's for a baby boy from the color of the card. I wanted to put a sentiment on it, but I cannot find a good place to put. Therefore, I give it up. :-) Hope you like it.

Heat embossing

Heat embossing has been a tricky technique for me. I usually have lots of "debris" left on the card which I don't know how to make a clean embossing. After reading the tips from the "Less is More" card challenge web site, I gave it a try, and it actually works!! Which tip I used? I used cotton ball rubbing over the area I will apply embossing. How can I not play along the challenge after getting this useful tips?!

Here is my card. I think it looks a bit too simple even adding a few gems on the tree. Anyhow, it looks quite good if you just look at the "tree" itself. :-)

Hope you like it.

Quilled baby carriage

A quilled baby carriage for a baby girl. At first, I was planning to use quilled circles for the wheels. While looking for places to put some gems, I find it looks quite nice to use them as wheels.

I'm playing along in the Less Is More Challenge.

Do you "like" it?
