Super Sketchy Sunday

While a lot of crafters are making vday cards, I guess I should make something similar.  I'm making a wedding anniversary card for my parents.  After I'm done, I realized I haven't made a vday card for my hubby (and I thought I did!)!!  So I'll wait for another challenge to participate to make a card for him. :)

This card is inspired by 365cards super sketchy sunday challenge.

The "silver" section actually has silver embossing powder which adds a bit of elegance to the card.

The paper roses were made a long time ago but I couldn't find the use of it at that time until now. :)  I followed an instruction somewhere from this blog. Unfortunately I'm unable to find that post again.  If I find it, I'll post it here as well.

Love...

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind
~ William Shakespeare

I'm making a wedding anniversary card for my parents. I'm also playing with a few card challenges:
1) Card pattern challenge - Sketch 109
2) Polycraft Monday Challenge - Old/Neglected stamp
The stamp I used in the card is one of the stamps I bought at the beginning of my card making hobby. For some reason, it's been hidden for a while.
3) Allsorts challenge - blooming blossoms

Here is the close up:

Hope you like it.

Cake? UFO?

I'm back! It's been a while that I make a card. And I entered the Day 44 challenge 365 cards.

Here is my take:

It's a wedding cake made from paper quilling. I hope you see this as a cake, cuz my hubby was saying "it looks like a UFO hanging something down". >_< Anyway, my quilling skill is getting rusty. I should probably make more. :)
